| • Bede Clarke Exhibition and Workshop: “Recent Work”, and exhibition of current work by Columbia, Missouri clay artist, Bede Clarke, will be on display April 6-7 at Springfield Pottery. An opening reception for the artist will be held on Friday, April 6 from 6-10pm during the First Friday Art Walk. On Saturday, April 7 from 9am-5pm, Bede Clarke will give a wheel throwing demonstration format workshop. Fee for the workshop is $35 and space is limited. Call 864-4677 to pre register.
• Claymobile is here and ready to roll! Springfield Pottery has partnered with the Springfield Regional Arts Council to bring this exciting mobile ceramic educational outreach program to schools and community organizations in our community and surrounding areas. Check out the website for more info and schedule the Claymobile to visit your organization! • Next Class Session begins week of March 19th- Register Now! The next session of classes will run the week of March 19th through the week of May 10th. Call the studio at 864-4677 to register and to check for availability. • Kid’s Camp 2007- Kid’s Camp is back! Our annual Kid’s Camp programming is set to begin July 9 -July 13th. Call Springfield Pottery at 864-4677 to register your camper (first through twelfth grade) and to check for availability. • Newly released book by Lark Books, 500 Pitchers Springfield Pottery is proud to announce that Nathan Falter is featured in this latest released book by Lark Books. • Springfield Pottery welcomes our newest artists in residence! We want to welcome our artists in residence Bryan Lynch and Geoffrey Kunkler. They join our incredibly hardworking, dedicated, and talented staff. Welcome! |
